As market leader, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a regional plan to grow the company’s market share, oversee project teams and ensure profitability within your market.
A successful candidate will be highly knowledgeable and experienced in the Senior Living market, including independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Previous experience and relationships in the Midwest are strongly preferred. You must also have proven experience in business development, proposal creation and fee structures, and contract negotiations.
With three offices nationally, we’ve completed millions of square feet of education, healthcare, industrial, retail, government and multi-family residential projects. You must have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Senior Living
- Experience in managing project teams
- Ability to source, attract and retain clients
- Ability to drive strategy in business development, hard bids and RFP’s
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Bonus points for:
- Midwest construction experience, particularly in senior living
- Estimating experience
- Contract writing
Type of Environment: The work environment for this position is a mix of a typical office environment and visits to construction project sites. When in the office, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time. Intermittent movement will be necessary to perform requirements of the position such as accessing centrally located office equipment.
Environmental Factors: Visits to construction project sites may involve travel and overnight stays. Site visits may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction sites. Examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subjected to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required outside of the Job Trailer.
